Didn't realize the tournament starts in like 48 hours or so. Still thought it was a week away for some reason.

Might as well keep all the non-ZIM games in one place.

SA vs Afghanistan in the opening match. Will be interesting to see Coetzee and see how quick he is, listed as a "right arm fast" on cricinfo. Not too many of those at age group level. Also interesting to see if Afghanistan have any decent batsmen in the ranks and if they have any up-coming wrist spinners. The afghans have said that they have an academy set up (or at least a program) just to develop wrist-spinners and mystery spinners. When they beat Bangladesh in a Test last year, they were bragging that they had 10 more Rashids and Mujeebs, just waiting to be unleashed.

In the Mzansi Super League he bowled a 148kph (92mph) rocket in a rain effected T20. I watched the highlights on YouTube so the footage is online.
He also smoked two very big 6’s in that game.
Him and Wiaan Mulder are two ridiculous talents for the future

That’s why I don’t understand how some people In SA cricketing circles think there’s a major lack of talent coming through. There’s heaps of it. The issue is keeping hold of that talent. I keep banging on but I can reel off 5 batters under 22 who are averaging 45+ in franchise cricket.

SA batting first. Fazal, the Afghan seamer clocking high 130s and just hit 140. Doesn't look a very tall lad though.
