So looks like the Forum has been obsessed with Burl and PJ Moor missing out and they forgot to congratulate Craig Slug Ervine on his Test Captaincy in Bangladesh.
Congratulations Slug.
Stop obsessing about Moor and Burl !
Craig has been one of most loyal Zimbabwean players I mentioned it in one of my post that he should be Zimbabwe next Test Captain,and so he deserves it.
I wish him a good series in Bangladesh

Can’t say I agree tbh
Never captains the Tuskers even when Sean Williams is missing
Always fields in the deep, doesn’t really strike me as a captain

Taylor captained while Williams was off the field, so it raises the question... is it just more punishment from the board

If Ervine ever had any captaincy ambitions, we would have known it earlier.
His appointment is just part of the lessons of respect for Raza and BT.

Craig is a Biscuit he deserves the captaincy more than any else,he has saved us from humiliating defeats numerous times.
He has more leadership qualities than Raza,Craig is a poor man’s Alistair Cook.

Craig Ervine is good choice but will be in trouble because of some poor, average heads as Zimbabwe Selectors whose thinkings are average like they were as players.
A leggie is must against Bangladesh. Mavuta, Cremer performed in previous occassion, Rashid Khan & Yasir Shah troubled lot of Bangladeshi batsman recently in test matches.

Rashid Khan will go from being u19 Captain a couple of years ago to being too old to physically play cricket by 2023

It’s really embarrassing. I cringe when I hear commentators saying ‘what control he has for a 21 year old’ and all this shit. Annoys me! The guy’s clearly around 28.
