3rd T20 | Zimbabwe V/s Pakistan | Rawalpindi

Post by Stoneman Returns »

Zimbabwe with 2-0 down should prefer to give new players chance in the Playing XI, as it will be harsh to throw them out without being tested.

Zimbabwe's Ex Captain Elton Chigumbura - will be playing his final match for his county and the Zimbabweans would be keen to give the 34-year-old allrounder a fitting farewell

What I would like to see and what we are going to see lineup wise are two totally different things sadly.

Assuming Kamunhukamwe & Chatara are still injured this is what I'd like to see

BT
Madhevere
Burl
Williams
Raza
Shumba
Chigumbura
Chisoro
Mumba
Blessing
Ngarava

Too be honest I don't really have much interest in giving Faraz Akram a game, because he is just a medium pace plodder, I'd much rather keep trying to develop Mumba & Ngarava. The same reason why I'm not too fussed about Wellington, because I know what he can do and I rate Chisoro better.

I've been watching this guy, 22 year old that we'll see in the Aus test side fairly soon. Back to back double hundreds in Sheffield at the age of 22. The mental health issues doesn't sound too good though. He must be some player.

Ben Curran was spotted in Harare so he must have sneaked in on the last flight out of Heathrow, it will be interesting to see how he goes if he gets a franchise berth.
We may well see all the Curran boys here for Xmas/New year. Once it's in your blood.....

Big rains forecast from Wednesday, this has been the hottest few days I can remember in Harare. The Zambezi Valley temperatures have been in the high forties.
I have a friend that farms in Zambia and they recorded 52 degrees yesterday!!

4 changes, Wellington, Akram, Ervine and Milton in, brilliant. Nothing has stuck so far, so it's worth changing things up. Hopefully three or four players can perform in unison and we can grab a win.
