Assuming they lose the next game, how many do they have to win against Netherlands? Probably one?

If they clean sweep against the English that might be enough?
This is how it is Googly.

RSA win the remaining 3, then they are through irrespective of what happens elsewhere.

RSA win 2/3, then SL should beat NZ 3-0 in NZ, IRE will be out irrespective of what they do.

RSA win 1/3, then SL should beat NZ 2-1 or Ire should beat Ban 3-0 to make it

RSA lose all three, then RSA are definitely out.

South Africa and Sri Lanka have 3 ODIS left before the qualification window closes. Whoever wins more between the two sides finishes in 8th. I would be surprised if Sri Lanka win anything in New Zealand.

South Africa all over England here. I never know what to make of Ngidi, he often looks like a trundler but now and again he can produce some decent spells. He has been to the same gym as Ngavara and Jongwe though

How's that partnership between Malan and The Buttler?
Maybe one of the greatest ODI partnerships ever!!!!

I don't see SA chasing this. I'd like to see Markram and Klaasen do it though, I like them both.

These days with two new balls such partnerships have become quite common googly. I do agree it was a great partnership but I'm no longer in awe of such efforts because they happen far too often now.

South Africa took things easy after the series win. That's not good. They still need to win those 2 games against the Netherlands and then hope SL don't cleansweep NZ. Even 1 win for NZ in that series will knock SL out.
