Bertus has written some good points on his twitter reg issues in ZC.

Honestly guys, what upsets me is the lack of player involvement. They just do not look like a team willing to do something big, they just look like a bunch of players who turn up because it's part of their job and just go back to the hotel once it is done. Absolutely nothing more than that.
Who's Bertus?

Has anyone heard anything about Klusener? I find it very strange that more than 2 months since the announcement he still hasn’t arrived?

Rumours have also completely dried up on the bowling coach front.

No batting coach, no bowling coach, and a charlatan as head coach. It’s a sad state of affairs.

The board must be getting very nervous now. They’ve been sitting very comfortably for the last year or two seemingly with not too much opposition and with people trying to support them.

If we don’t quality for the T20WC it will surely all kick off again and be 2018 all over again.

Hopefully they are starting to panic a bit. I’m sure they’d all like to win re-election easily with a ‘we are back in the World Cup, we are doing well’ campaign rather than having to resort to legal threats, death threats, physical attacks, and gifting free land to random blokes again in the provinces who inexplicably have a vote.

Who's sticking their head above the parapet? That's not how it works here, you know that. It's all quid pro quo. We are stuck with this board until old age gets them and us. If they were left in charge of us as an Associate team with 500k a year they'd take it all day.

Ya Klusener and a bowling coach is a bit of a mystery. They cost money though. They've seen that we still lose regardless of the coaching staff, so why have any? It's just logic and Father Xmas keeps sending millions

Nothing will change, first of all until the qualifiers ZC won't even be bothered about the results.

Afghanistan are only coming because they see 30 WSL points given to them on the plate. They will most likely beat Zim 6-0 or 5-1.

ZC will surely set up some warm up games against USA or PNG and then Zimbabwe will qualify for T20 WC. ZC will boast of all these fixtures as a learning experience which helped the team qualify. In a 16 team WC that's no big deal actually.

This will follow some big defeats against Bangladesh, India and Australia, with probably an odd win here and there.. And in T20 WC zimbabwe may punch above their weight and make it to Super 12s, that can happen as Zim on a given day can beat Ireland, UAE or Scotland.

ZC will be overjoyed and they will show this as a huge achievement.

Then next year Zim will obviously fail to qualify for 50over WC (this time it won't even be close like last time it was just 1 win away that too against an associate) and we all will be here discussing the problems. 😒
