There is no reason to keep PJ out of the squad he has got more average then 13 years proven failed cricketer Chakabva, who scores in 1 out of 10 and cement his place in series after series.
Ffs, stop beating this drum to death. It's really tiring.

You seem to continue to ignore the fact that PJ Moor is a poor wicketkeeper nowadays. This has been the case for a while, especially in the longer format. Having watched three streams of his Irish matches this continues to be the case. I repeat - PJ Moor is not a good wicketkeeper anymore. He's probably about the 5th best in Zim with the gloves. I'm interested - have you ever watched PJ keep wicket? Genuine question. He's very average with the gloves in recent years. Very very average.

Then we come to batting. I've asked you numerous times to name anything he's done in the past three years. Very little. He was great before (and I was a massive fan) but he looks to have declined over the past several YEARS.

We then come to the fact it is widely known and discussed that the guy regularly didn't show up for franchise training sessions. He also missed several rounds of our very very short first class season a year or two back because he decided to 'go on holiday'. I've said all of this to you before though and you just ignore it.

Now he's gone off to Ireland. And made a poor start with both the gloves and bat.

Chakabva meanwhile is a committed, consistent performer who has been a great servant to Zim over the years. Whenever he bats up the order, he does well. He's a competent glovesman and a solid bat. He's also a leader in the dressing room and shows a good attitude. He's not world class by any stretch of the imagination but I just don't understand why you spend literally all day every day of your life on this forum specifically bashing Regis and praising PJ.
But pj moor is the top 7 batters in zimbabwe.

Lol he really, really, really, really, really isn't. He's not even close.

Check the date. It's 2021, not 2017.

I can pitch in 100 USD if more people are willing to do it
New Balance shoes cost $220 AU for top of the range. I'm still keen to try and set up some kind of ZC fans initiative.

Someone like burl doesn't need all his she's to be top of the range though. A fast bowler like blessing does though.

It's a bit like how ZC always argue that they need to use kookaburra for all cricket in Zim which I question as top of the line kookaburras are so expensive and there are other balls which do the job for lower level matches and training.

Puma has all stepped in now so no need.

But playing with old shoes could lead to injuries, I hope this is not the case in Zim.

International matches have to meet a certain standard of ball. In saying that, this discussion was had on twitter on found that those standard balls could be bought cheaper than ZC guys were saying.

With Zim cricket there will always be a need. So many times we've let ZC get away with so many things. We can't keep letting them get away. I think the fans also have a role to play.

Just because Burl may not be as high up, does not mean he does not deserve to have proper footwear. No player should be using glue to get through games especially at international level.

I don't know how long Puma will hang about if ZC go ahead with punishing the player. Puma will gain nothing from having a player on their books who isn't playing.

It's not that he isn't high up, it's that fast bowlers need extra protection. Also first class and especially club games (like NPL) in Zim probably don't need the best level of kookaburra ball all the time if there is such a cash shortage . Dukes and SG work well too.

However most of Zims regular opponents use kooka as well so there is a need for them at times.

Agree that bowlers would need that protection, but Burl has highlighted a clear issue here and there is not one more than the other. Burl has taken on more bowling responsibility, so could be argued that he gets more wear in his shoes.

I think this supports the need for more to be done by all stakeholders. Imagine if we had a pool to support the players when the need arises like this, regardless of who that player is. Could be a Wes who can't afford an arm guard, or a Marumani who needs wk gloves.

Agree with need to use lesser balls in things like NPL and domestic. Again, this was debated on twitter but the ZC guys were adamant that we were "idiots and fools" who thought that teams would agree to play with "useless quality equipment".

Yeah the Zim players don't have a strong players association like the ACA.

Pj’s cricketing career looks over. He might get to play few t-20s for Ireland but that should be it. Ervine made a similar decision long time ago but quickly came back and worked really hard to cement his place here. After committing to ZC for so long, Moor could have just waited few more years. People were saying he could be the captain in the future. Once the big 4 leave, ZC will surely try to keep good and “faithful” guys to their setup. Anyways wish PJ good luck, he was a handy test player and overall a nice guy. He just couldnt score big when he got opportunities( logan, emerging/ developmental squads, practice matches etc).

May be PJ doesn't falls in your personal goodbook, and 13 years proven failure Chakabva is at top position in your liking. Don't bring your personal dislikings here. PJ has the stats to proof how he is, stop making fools to other, everyone knows how badly ZC treated him.ZC has the habit of backing failures otherwise we wont have seen Chari, Chibhabha, Maruma getting picked for SA A tour. Few years ago they tried same thing with Ryan Burl, who was not seen in that domestic season for no reason. Failed cricketers are always committed because at the back door there is some strong force that backs their selection.
