Re: Zimbabwe Domestic T20 Competition 2021
I saw one or two overs of his in the first Logan Cup match after the Afghan series where he dismissed Mumba with a googly that turned appreciably. That made me sit up. Unfortunately he was dropped for the next FC match despite his 4 wickets (he had been a tad expensive).CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 7:58 amDid anyone notice Brighton Chipungu? That is the shortest runup I have seen for a leggie! Just a couple of steps and deliver. Had pretty good control I thought. Looked better than Mavuta to be honest. Took Chibhabha and Chakabva - two massive Eagles wickets too!
When are we starting #ChipunguMania?

Burl is in form.
He needs to be. On his day zhuwayo can score very freely if he lasts long enough. Marumani is a bit of a power hitter too I have heard

Has Taylor suddenly lost massive amounts of weight or is the video stream making him look leaner? Or is the keeper someone else? Jonathan Campbell?

Oh what shot selection! Get this man into the national T20 team as an opener. A breath of fresh air!

Haven't seen anyone from Zim bat with some purpose like this in ages. That too in domestic games where you just see people meandering along...

Thanks CrimsonCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 7:56 amFar from his best from what I could see now. But at least he is back bowling and hope he can get back to full fitness soon.
