Who are the selectors these days? Makoni, Hammy and Ewing?

I think Myers will be selected in the test side. He has every opportunity here in the Pro 50 to do with Marumani has done.

Also good to see that Brad Evans has been kept on standby. Shows he is on their radar and rightly so.

I watched Tshuma bowl on youtube and he has such a lovely action. He has a yard as well

T20s doesn't look like Myers' strongest suit, at least for now.

Hope so! He needs to have a good week in the Pro50. As it stands I think Musakanda, Roy Kaia and even Innoocent Kaia are ahead of him for Test places.

Not a bad side, bowling still looks weak to me, Blessing & Ngarava are perfect for ODI & Test cricket but they both go for plenty in t20s. Spin is a hude issue too, Wellington again gets picked lol, honestly even Mehluli Sibanda is calling them out for this

Good to see Mufudza seems like another random selection, they seem clueless on who is their best spinner so they're giving everyone a turn. Since Cremer retired we've seen Mavuta, Wellington, Chisoro, Ndlovu, Mutombodzi & now Mufudza all play as front line spinners, along with the part-time guys Raza, Williams, Wes & Burl.

Jongwe is also a bit random, he didn't exactly set the world alight during the t20 comp but after 5 years in the wilderness he's back in ??

Player Mat Inns NO Runs HS Ave BF SR Inns Overs Mdns Runs Wkts BBI Ave Econ SR
LM Jongwe 5 5 1 94 41* 23.50 94 100.00 5 11.0 0 83 4 2/16 20.75 7.54 16.5

Tuskers vs Eagles 04 (09) 0/6 (1) 16-Apr-2021 Harare T20
Tuskers vs Rhinos 12 (10) 1/20 (3) 15-Apr-2021 Harare T20
Tuskers vs Goats 14 (20) 2/16 (3) 14-Apr-2021 Harare T20
Tuskers vs Rocks 41*(29) 0/23 (2) 12-Apr-2021 Harare T20
Tuskers vs Eagles 23 (26) 1/18 (2) 11-Apr-2021 Harare T20

Honestly am I missing something here?

Also Chivanga got lucky to be picked I reckon, he was going for nearly 10 an over and didn't really take a bucket load of wickets, yet he was picked over the more economical Evans and the more experienced and threatening Chatara

Jongwe hasn't been in the wilderness. He's been playing in the UK.

Yeah well he has the stats from the UK so it's not a left field/bad selection
