For me Kamunhukamwe is running out of chances. Hopefully he does something meaningful this series. BT and Wes are my preferred opening pair
Seriously ? 15 average in T20Is and 12 in Domestic T20s, doesn't think he can give any value

Why not push Marumani at the top ? Left Right combo with Taylor. Debutant should be given pressure free situation.

Bro!!! How many did Chamu & Chari get 😂😂😂

Nah he needs to get that swipe across the line out of his game for sure. Watching Zhuwao bludgeon the Tuskers yesterday made me again think what could have been with him, Kamu has similar instincts but needs to work his game out

Seems we dont have an established opening pair but im guessing for now Kamunhukamwe will get to open with BT. Chakabva is another opener we can even try.
Regis isn’t a limited overs opener, tried and failed soooo many times

Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field

Zimbabwe (Playing XI): Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, Wesley Madhevere, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Craig Ervine, Sean Williams(c), Ryan Burl, Regis Chakabva(w), Luke Jongwe, Wellington Masakadza, Blessing Muzarabani, Richard Ngarava

Pakistan (Playing XI): Mohammad Rizwan(w), Babar Azam(c), Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Haider Ali, Danish Aziz, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, Usman Qadir, Mohammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf

Brendan Taylor out due to sickness. Marumani make debut

Sean Williams | Zimbabwe Captain: We're going to have a bowl first. We have prepared well in the domestic tournament. Playing Pakistan today is exciting for the young players today. Looks like the pitch will flatten out in the afternoon. Craig and Brendan bring in a lot of experience, but Brendan is sick and in the hotel so he won't play this game.

No Taylor wtf? Fitness issue maybe? Will be interesting to see who opens, probably Madhevere and Kamunhukamwe. We bowl first, so pressure's on Blessing and co to restrict them to something chasable.

I hope taylor wasnt dropped.
Taylor was bookie fav to top score

also burning as i had chivanga as top bowler, chivanga being a death bowler meant value at 5.50:1
