Zimbabwe Cricket Website
After years of being offline, looks like ZC have launched their website again. Embarrassing that they didn’t have one for so long tbh.
It’s basic but better than nothing. Well done ZC.

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Website
Thanks for info.
It's really a good news which comes in a period of time when Zimbabwe national squad is achieving results that belong to it.
Indeed I have been wondering how little Zimbabwe cricket is reported on the web. Especially comparing to the plenty of web design skills which exist in the Country. I'm in the WordPress Harare whatsapp group and I could count over a hundred of skilled web designers.
I hope next step is to have web sites for all teams participating to domestic competitions.

Looks really good, thanks for sharing.
Stuff still needs updating like the rankings, chakabva is in the bowling rankings
Love the layout though with the news articles and the videos etc.

Since Mazakadza has come on board, I'll say it, ZC appear to be doing a half decent job of running the ship...finally.
Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Website
Except when he appoints his friends in high positions, including a national captain who’s probably not good enough for the LogN cup anymore.
And is a website something Hammy would have a hand in?

It's only taken them til 2021. It's a good start. Still lacking a bit and still stuck in early 2000's design and graphics, but hopefully it's the start of an actual burgeoning media presence.

Not sure who should get the credit, may be him, or someone else, but for sure, ZC has done pretty decently from the time they put out that Jerusalema dance challenge. NPL, albeit curtailed Logan Cup, planning the shorter format competitions (curtailed for sure) at the right time - slowly but surely improving media exchanges. And to do all that in a pandemic year is commendable. Of course there are problems, but there are clear improvements too.

Better than nothing, but please bring back John Ward for some quality cricket writing.
For now we have to put up with this:
