Since Mazakadza has come on board, I'll say it, ZC appear to be doing a half decent job of running the ship...finally.
Not sure who should get the credit, may be him, or someone else, but for sure, ZC has done pretty decently from the time they put out that Jerusalema dance challenge. NPL, albeit curtailed Logan Cup, planning the shorter format competitions (curtailed for sure) at the right time - slowly but surely improving media exchanges. And to do all that in a pandemic year is commendable. Of course there are problems, but there are clear improvements too.
They are still a billion miles away from being a competent cricket board overall, but yeah I agree, a lot of progress this season and I hope they continue making positive steps forward.

Better than nothing, but please bring back John Ward for some quality cricket writing.

For now we have to put up with this:
Gary Chirimuuta again played a useful innings of 14
The whole sentence reads poorly.
Gary Chirimuuta again played a useful innings of 14, but at 94 Gopito was caught for 49 off Brandon Mavuta, who then caught and bowled Shingi Masakadza for six.
My editor would not have been happy if this is what I wrote up. It's jumpy and convoluted.

Who is writing the articles on this site? Are they being checked?

There are all sorts of journalistic errors.
