Burl has a broken finger.
Is it? Or they are making this up!?
He 100% has a broken finger.
Alright, that's really sad, Burl could have got good game time here, broken finger might mean out for a few weeks not just a game 🤦‍♂️. Far too many injuries in Zimbabwe camp recently. Raza, Ervine, Williams, Burl, Jarvis. 🤦‍♂️

Myers has played well too.
I thought he looked to be getting bogged down by the spinners but hasn't panicked or manufactured shots. Good supporting role to marumani and it was needed after 2 quick wickets.
Sensible head on young shoulders

Good knock by Marumani, he has looked good in his short career so far.

Myers was given enough time to settle in. These 2 just need to be calm and knock it around for the next 7 or 8 overs. This is a really good platform. The South Africans were not expecting a fight like this. That is the exact moment it hits you on tour that you are not on holiday.

Myers looks good too.

Not getting carried away but Marumani, Myers and Madhevere can form a solid future batting line up for Zimbabwe and for the present along with the Big 4 +Burl Zimbabwe have a pretty decent batting unit for ODI Super league as well as for the T20 WC Qualifiers next year. Jongwe too is an excellent addition to the side.

I'd like to see some good bowlers come through though, other than Blessing of course. Hopefully Chivanga can step up.
