Myers is damn brilliant player.
Stop him to join the university and ask him to play national team. A real talent :o

It appears to me by watching Chatara that he has gained some of his pace back, he is bowling with some steam i reckon, hopefully he will become fitter when they take on Bangladesh in the three important ODIs. An accurate Nyauchi could become very successful in the shorter format.

I wonder at what speed Chatara's pace clicks on speed gun, seems like he is really cranking his pace up by a notch in this A series South Africa.

It's cold, middle of winter, moving around a bit, Overcast. These are the conditions we need against Bangladesh . Harare is the best location. I hope they reconsider. There are no fans allowed anyway

Marumani taking the gloves shows that at least these guys realize we need an alternative. It's definitely a lot of pressure on the kid but he is young enough to put his head down and learn. Mutumbami isn't it and BT is getting old. We need another keeper.

Early 130's from what I've seen. I don't think he's gunning it down as fast as people think. His control is much better though and you can visually see his pace has increased from the domestic competition

Seems Mayers - Marumani against South Africa A

Mayers proving an allround talent, such things are required by Zim for success in shorter formats.

If Chatara can bowl around mid 130s, with his accuracy and ability to swing the ball, Zimbabwe have a fine duo of pacers in Muzarabani and Chatara to bowl in tandem.

I would go with the following line-up against the Bangladesh in upcoming ODIs

Madhevere
Marumani
Taylor
Williams
Myers
Raza ( if fit at number 6 and Burl at 7 )
Burl
Mufudza ( or Wellington or Mavuta )
Muzarabani
Chatara
Ngarava
