Devon Conway "Lord of Lords" : Another Kevin Pietersen in making ?

Another South African Born cricketer, getting ditched by the set up, pursuing his career in New Zealand at an age of 26. Now in headlines, trending in social media for becoming 2nd Kiwi and 7th overall to score a double ton in test debut, that too in "Mecca Of Cricket" at the Lords.
His shorter format career though earlier but still its eye catching. 75 avg in 3 odis, and 59 in T20Is. Average of 47 in Fast Class with 18 tons. His journey is quite similar to England legendary batsman Kevin Pietersen, South African by origin got ditched by set up and later become best of the game

Anyway, irrespective of where this thread moves, congrats to Devon Conway. What an insanely special debut knock!
NZ now has 3 guys from SA - Conway, Watling, Wagner and one from Zim - CdG. Also waiting in the wings is our own Bangalorean Rachin Ravindra

The way Conway batted was treat to watch, where the best of the Kiwis struggled, a debutant single handedly, took the game away from English paceres

Yea this bloke looks special.
That was a serious knock. Facing up against Broad and Anderson, on debut and at Lords. He's shown some real ticker there and I think NZ have really found something

Can`t really count Ravindra and Watling with the others since they was brought up in NZ. Also theres Glenn Phillips from SA and Chapman from Hong Kong

Yeah, it was more tongue in cheek to add them. But I'll still follow the fortunes of fellow Bangalorean Ravindra closely
