Roy throws it away, as did Wes Dion and Shumba before him. 70% of dismissals in every Zim innings are really soft. Nothing threatening from the deliveries. How can this be solved? Then when we bowl, it has to be an extremely good delivery 80% of the time to get an opposition batsman out. Another area of concern.

Mavuta has decided to lose form at the worst possible time. There are tons of spinbowling all-rounders in contention, Wesley, Burl, Raza, Williams. I think most ZC supporters will take a plodding batting display over the allotted 4 day test period, than the trademark batting collapses, with test matches ending within 2 days with the usual innings plus defeats.

I think most ZC supporters will take a plodding batting display over the allotted 4 day test period, than the trademark batting collapses, with test matches ending within 2 days with the usual innings plus defeats.

But that isn’t how it plays out,
It’s not a ‘slow 350 or quick 200’ thing.
It’s either a quick in and out or a plod slow burn collapse with the same end result.
Often it’s worse and the block block block ends in less runs because there’s simply less scoring.
