Who gives a shit if you are some king blocker if you gangscore any runs. You’re just wasting time.

He was too slow in my opinion. Unless it is ZC plan to have him as a batsman who anchors, whilst others score slightly quicker. Then team run rate has been around 3rpo which is not bad at all, and if this was intentional then Shumba can bat the way he did today. But such a display is only fully justifiable if you go on and score 120+

Good to see 2 of the kids performing once again. Big day for Kaia tomorrow if he wants to play against Bangladesh. If Myers gets a few wickets here he might be worth the gamble in all formats. If he is a permanent fixture in all the squads and he gets a contract offer he might reconsider the Uni thing

Mutumbami might be playing because they are thinking of playing Chakabva as a specialist batsman. The question then becomes who will score more runs between Kasuza, Prince and Mutumbami? Mutumbami might be the better option if you look at it that way

I wish we also got regular injury updates. We got no idea what's happening in that department.

I thought shumba played pretty well.
Not everyone can block. We don't really need a zhuwayo type of innings where he gets a quickfire 25 then out after 13 balls and then zim are 157-7 or something.

No pleasing some people

It's a pity he didn't manage a century after 250 balls.

But I am pretty pleased to see a young player face 247 against South Africa A.

For the First part of the 150 balls faced he played well, but I think he got carried away.

I am happy he faced 247 balls which equates to about 44 overs, that in its self is a good strategy.

But you would expect him to start playing at a better rate after facing about 150 balls.

I hate block block as well,it will just be a matter of time before you get a really good delivery at least if you play a few shots, you can put the bowlers under pressure.

Rahul dravid, pujara, Dom Sibley are all king blockers. Nothing wrong with especially if you have some free flowing batsmen in the team.
