31 vs 30 now.CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 11:34 amThe two lead spinners have bowled 31 overs between them and the part timers have bowled 25. What a waste of selection. We might as well have played Chipungu, or used this as an opportunity to give game time to national team regulars for a shoot-out between Chisoro and Wellington.
Yeah, where is he now?

It's going to be very interesting to see how our batsmen approach this because they will find themselves in similar situationsplaying for the main team. Another blockathon from Shumba and he plays next month.

The difference here is no one from SA A is losing concentration and playing a stupid stroke. You have to work for your wickets and we are struggling. You will see when we bat, 5 or 6 wickets to fall will be silly shots. Disappointing.

I think we can cross that one off the list after the pavillion knocked his middle stump out of the ground, with Brian still holding the pose of his elegant leave.

By the way, the fact that Myers earlier and now Shumba have been replaced could only mean that they are certain to make the squad for BD series and the selectors want them to remain injury free, so taking no chances. If that is the case, good idea. We don't know who all are available, so we don't want to end up like the Pak series where we have a lot of first choice players missing due to injury. Those two have anyway had decent time in the middle through this series.

Wesley yet again failed in red ball cricket.
Don't want to see him in the final eleven against Bangladesh. May be dropped for test
