1) B. Taylor
2) T. Marumani (wk)
3) C. Ervine
4) S. Williams (C)
5) W. Madhevere
6) D. Myers
7) S. Raza
8) R. Burl
9) B. Muzarabani
10) T. Chatara
11) R. Ngarava

12th) L. Jongwe
13th)T. Musakanda

This is, by far, the best XI for Zimbabwe to push for a place at 2023 World Cup in India. With aging Taylor, Zimbabwe need to groom a young batsman who could not only keep but also score important runs for the team at the top and the perfect candidate for that role is Tadiwanashi Marumani, an attacking and young batsman with some sort of keeping experiences. With this batting line-up, Zimbabwe have three frontline seamers plus a medium pacer in Myers and four spin bowling options at disposal. Zimbabwe can also bring in Jongwe in place of Ngarava or Chatara if one of these two underperform. With Myers, Raza and Burl coming in at number 6,7 and 8 Zimbabwe have the much-needed firepower at the backend of the innings to score quick runs. At the top, Taylor along with Marumani will form a right and left combination duo that can give a flying start, in at number 3 and 4 Ervine and Williams will add experience and in case of early wickets these two have the ability to play consolidation roles. Madhevere in at 5 moves the scoreboard tickling with his strike rotating ability. And the depth in batting will help specially when there are quick and early wickets fall.

Good One day squad, I think you left out the Tiripano, he is the most underated Allrounder we have.
