Marumani needs to be persisted with I think.

Sikander raza is a shoe in next match.

Batting underwhelmed me apart from chakabva. He overwhelmed me.
Where has this new aggressive batsman sprung from. Well played sir 😀😀😀

Does the management have decided to pick other wicket keepers as bench warmer and drink carriers.?

J Gumbie has performed in domestic cricket and should be in the Playing XI replacing Chakabva

13 years experienced once in a blue moon performer Chakabva who scored just 47 runs in last 3 odis gets an edge over others.

Bro, when he will rise ? He is 13yrs experienced in international colours for Zim. Already 33+ now, career has been mixed with full of inconsistency. Peter Moor is in line of making debut for Ireland.Ryan Murray doesnt know what he wants to pursue, Gumbie and others are regarded as less talented. So, who is there to make this wicket keeper batsman position useful ?
Hahahaha. Biggest Clown on this forum.

Did you enjoy his 4 catches, one of the best run-outs you'll ever see from a keeper, and 50+ with the bat?

Musudhu.

I can select many of his best innings from his " once in a blue moon " career to show him great performer but at the end his failure is more then success in his 13years of career.

So dont jump with one innings.

Chakabva was getting played in the wrong position in ODIs because our middle order was packed with the big 4 and Hami sometimes. I was surprised he played those big shots but to me he isnt a big hitter. Number 5 is his best position. He is experienced now and he is showing he capable.

At full strength for me now I would go with a batting lineup like

BT
Wes
Ervine
Williams (cpt)
Chakabva (wk)
Myers
Raza
Burl/Jongwe (depending on the conditions)

BT clearly isnt Mr Reliable anymore but he can give us a good start. Williams should be our main guy now. Marumani ,Shumba and Musakanda as the squad batsmen.

It’s not his natural game but I’ve seen Regis bat aggro before in this manner.
He pulls it every so often.
He is a decent player. Not good enough for what we want but the kinda guy who I think is great backup

We have not seen such a dismal performance in a long time.

Losing by 150 is not good for the net run rate. SL is an ICC tournament so net run rate can be a factor if teams are tied on points.

BD must not get compalcent.
