He came back to Zim, put in the hard yards all season and seemed very keen to play for Zim. Frustrating that he went back to the UK after being a reserve for Pak series and in the 'A' squad too. I hope he's still committed, but not sure. Similar player to Jongwe. Let's see if he comes back for the domestic campaign.
I have a very reliable source who said that Brad wants and intends to play for Zimbabwe not sure when that happens. And so Ryan Murray.
Murray has picked the worst time to be playing hardball as reported in numerous threads thanks to the recent acedency of Chakhabva.
Gotta play some domestic to be in with a chance of national squad and that is quite right.
Brad Evans is an interesting one. Hopefully he accepts any A tours coming up
yeah jongwe still doesnt look polished even though he is still pretty young and talented

Jongwe was destroyed by Ntini's process when he looked to be promishing both with bat & bowl, by now he could have been an well established allrounder

That's not true. Jongwe had some well documented issues outside the game which was the reason he fell away from the team. Suggest you do a bit of research.

Had a big big drink problem which ended up with him being arrested for DUI after a car crash I think. Plenty of other rumours out there regarding his off-field behaviour. He pissed off a succession of coaches domestic and national, and Taibu particularly disapproved of him.

The fact he kicked the habit and now seems to be back to his best on the field - and a good guy off it - is really good. Pleased for him.

I reckon Musakanda had the same problem. He was fired from an australian for drunk driving. Hope he's better now.

Taylor got arrested at Notts, Musakanda, Jongwe...seems like alcoholism is a highly prevalent issue for many.

Haven't such an harsh punishment that kept him out of international cricket for 5 years for drinking. 5 yrs out seems more guilty on match fixing or doping then small incident on drinking. Ntini didn't liked Chisoro & Jongwe which was main reason for not including them.

Even Stokes didn't get such harsh punishment on punching an army official

Quite quite ridiculous immature comments by several posters above.

There’s a difference between having a wild night out and being an actual alcoholic with a serious problem.

‘Small incident’?!?!?!

This plumbs new depths even by your posting standards. Do some fucking research before you speak.

Insensitive, offensive and downright incorrect.
