If Brad Evans does indeed makes himself available for Zimbabwe I think that will be a big boost for Zimbabwe and it will give great balance to the side. He can be the much needed all-rounder like Blignaut or Travis Friend.
To have someone who could emulate Bliggie or Sean Ervine are fine, but Friend was pretty much his generation's Tiripano (minus the large heart too, possibly) :). Highly talented in age groups but rarely fired with bat or ball for the national team... We could do with a Chigumbura at his best too...

Evans could certainly be a decent limited overs option with the ball

I think he would br a great addition..... for depth

There is nothing to suggest he will be a world beater. Probably our third best seamer who is competent enough as a tail ender.

Guys dont forget that Jarvis was hired as a talent scout.

Think about it.

Why would they hire a white guy in that role?

Is it to:
A: Scour the Churchill under 16 batting lineup to identify little Jimmy as a potential world beater if he gets his backfoot right, insight that only Kyle is capable to see?
B: Scour the bush to identify kids chasing lions with speers that might have the fast bowlers physique?
or,
could it be...

C: Is the result of a project to lure the (largely white) diaspora back to Zimbabwe Cricket?

Or,

D: a token appointment of a white guy in a low paid non-job to maintain the false facade that ZC is an inclusive setup and not just essentially an extension of Takashinga Cricket Club for political and financial gain?

I really hope it is C. B would be fun too.

Travis friend was infinitely more talented than Tiripano. Jesus guys. Friend was genuinely fast on his day (140kph fast). Of the little I saw of him bat, he looked like he had a very good technique and his 81 against South africa in 2003 was class.

Ervine, Blignaut and Friend would all be good dust in this side right now

Namibia have now beaten UAE in a T20I. I think Ireland and Netherlands have got their work cut out in the T20 WC and may be even Sri Lanka. What a tough group this is.

i encourage you all to slam the report button on any post he makes across his 50 accounts. Send a message and catch the mods eyes.
Otherwise he will just go silent when BRMT shows up again for his biannual visit.
