The rotating policy makes sense for me because I think we will rarely get a series where all 4 of them are available at the same time. At 35 they will constantly be getting injured or bubble fatigue from now on.

This can work until one of the kids really secures their place. Myers is like PJ when it comes to the qualities needed to be captain but that's a long way away.

My main suspect to be named the permanent captain soon is Chakabva. I think they are waiting to see if his form was a fluke or not. I don't think he will be a bad choice. In fact if you actually have been watching Zim games (especially the test matches) where Williams wasn't there, he is usually helping set the field and instructing the bowlers on their lines and length. He is 34 next month but looks like he can play for a while. I was also impressed how he really stood up when BT was failing in those Pakistan tests. He played like a senior member of the team

Massive loss. I wonder what the thought process was. For me it only makes sense that they play until at least the ODI World Cup qualifiers but Jarvis did the same.

We unfortunately have no option but to blood these kids in right away. Straight into the fire. I doubt the remaining guys will be still playing for us by this time next year if this is anything to go by. Drastic decisions have to be made. Importing players has to start happening now.

Oh fuck. Rajput's contract was due to expire this weekend.......

So if Williams is retiring citing issues with the coach, then I think we can all assume he's signed a new contract ffs.

Rajput or Williams? And the board have fucking chosen Rajput, some washed up Indian dude who's achieved nothing in the past three years. Couldn't make it up.
