Don’t really know enough about the women’s team to comment much on Granger but she still seems to play the majority of matches. Looks like she had a pretty average Africa T20 Qualifiers last month so maybe that’s why she didn’t play the first two matches of this series?
Africa T20 qualifier Final
Didn't get to bowl, didn't get to bat (Zim 4 down)

Africa T20 qualifier Semifinal
2 wickets in 3 overs, Didn't get to bat (Zim 6 down)

Africa T20 qualifier Round robin:
vs Rwanda: Didn't get to bowl (7 others did), 17*(14) coming in at 6
vs Mozambique: Didn't get to bowl, didn't get to bat (Zim 3 down)
vs Botswana: 2 wickets in 3 overs, didn't get to bat (Zim 5 down)
vs Eswatini: Didn't get to bowl, didn't bat (Zim 0 down)
vs Tanzania: Didn't play

Thailand T20I series:
Did not play any of the 3 matches

Thailand OD series:
Did not play the last 3 ODs
First OD: 1/14 in 5, Did not get to bat (Zim 3 down)

Looks like severe lack of opportunities from the above cases. Also, she could very well have been injured between 2nd OD vs Thailand all the way till 2nd match of T20 qualifier as well. Still, I can't explain the lowly batting position (I remember her coming in at 9 or 10 too in some matches before this). Is she now seen as a bowler primarily? In which case, not getting to bowl when 7 others bowl ahead of her makes no sense too.

Interesting, thanks CA! Yeah maybe she's had injuries? Or maybe the other players have made a lot of progress? Not sure.

I definitely need to follow the women's game more closely.

She was actually clubbed out of the park today, hope she can bat a bit later on.
The higher you go the cooler it becomes.

You have to wonder at some of these teams that we play against. What happens when we play Somalia and they have to issue an apology because they didn't realise shooting and cricket were separate sports?
Can our failed men cricketers not identify as women and we can then try our luck against a member side, we've forgotten what that feels like.
I'm yet to understand where any of our ladies learnt to play cricket, it's not played at school and I don't think there's any regular club cricket?

They've gone for an all-Harare bubble. International cricket at Sunrise!!!!! I heard the ground is of a questionable standard, so unless the ICC are tarting it up then it should be very interesting! I think India might have played some warm-up tour matches there in the 90's but I think this is the first international cricket there since.

Yes the ICC usually provide funds for these tournaments. The obvious benefits are free renovations. So does that mean the pro50 will be played in Bulawayo?

Need a before and after shot of the ground so we can see where the money went.

There’s an ICC briefing going around that says Country Club is hosting warm-up matches.

That.....can’t be right?

There are 5 warm-up matches taking place at the same time in the same day so presumably there is a 5th venue being used. But surely not country club!?!
