Owned now by Ozias Bvute, or certainly under his control.
There was a caretaker there of sorts not so long ago and I see the golf course has had some water and a bit of attention so it's possible that they've been maintaining the ground. We're in the tropics- water, fertiliser and a mower and you can fix anything reasonably quickly. I was there about 8 months ago and the problem was the crickets, there was a burrow every square meter, they'd invaded the place.

Will be excellent if they can get it sorted and back in use. I remain very doubtful but let's see if this proposed Warm-Up match happens there or not.
I'd have thought if it was actually happening then we'd have seen some domestic cricket there to test it out before the ICC sent international players there?

It's not going to be for free either. And all the while OG's is there.
Theyre going to make more money out of Women's cricket and it's a lot less expensive to run and less headache for administration.

Crickets stopping cricket, batters getting battered, and balls hitting ... ahem ... These are certain headlines only possible in this game, surely.
Re: Zim Women's Cricket Thread
I see you can watch the cricket, they're selling 1000 tickets and you have to present a vaccination card. Seems like the vaccinations only half work.
When will this charade end?

I'm tempted to drive down and go to one of the games. Never seen the ladies play live before.

Get there early, there will be thousands of guys waving their vax certificates clamouring to get in.
I played golf with a mate with a forged vax certificate the other day and they actually checked it, but $5 made it ok.
