Blessing and ngarava are shoe ins for test against Afghanistan.
So is it a shoot out between Mumba/masuku and chivanga for the third spot
They will probably pick tiripano .. But here's me hoping for 3 out and out quicks

Yes, Nyauchi is the incumbent backup isn't it? Masuku has to get past him, ideally.
And there is no reason to believe Mumba has any pace that is better than the rest. He has shown some hitting potential, but most definitely his bowling prowess has reduced from the time of his debut.
Realistically, we have Blessing and Ngarava, and then it is all open as to who wants to claim the next spots in the fast bowling department.

Masuku is pretty slow, isn't he? Is he much quicker than the Don?

They will probably play Tiripano against Afghanistan after his batting heroics last time against them. They will argue that if they prepare a pitch with some life in it like the 1st test then Don will pick up wickets. Unless Chivanga continues to bag wickets over the next 2 weeks, I doubt there will be major changes. Jongwe batted at 6 this weekend and failed.
My only concern with this fast paced domestic schedule is that if you are injured for 2 or 3 weeks, you might miss half a season. I guess we can't have it all.
