Young Madande unbeaten on 117*. Very very impressive considering he went through the nervous nineties with the big two lads Chivanga & Ngarava trying every trick in the book to intimidate him. A very mature innings.Tuskers need their bowlers to back them up now.

Rocks finally declare with Raza out for a mammoth career best 226 - wow! Mountaineers staring at defeat.

Some good performances to be fair.

Madande kaitano and chivanga have been the consistent ones past few games as well as masuku

this is definetely the right way to go for zimbabwe by making what are surely flatter pitches. The guys will learn how to build innings better

Wellington wicketless in almost 50 overs

Well done Madande. Let's hope it's not just a one-off.

He has more or less come from nowhere this season. I don't even recall him playing much for the U19s.

A young wk in FC to get slightly excited about; that's something. :)

He was on the radar when he was younger at school - Churchill lad. Think he was the year above Wes & Shumba but in typical Churchill age-fudging style played in the same U16 team as them when he was presumably already 17! Anyway he was pretty good and I'm pretty sure I saw him score 80-odd in a T20 once, and keep wicket very well, unless I'm confusing him with someone else. This would be 4-5 years ago.

Since then he disappeared and didn't seem to be around any of the u19 squads, so not sure what happened to him. Resurfaced at Tuskers out of the blue last year. But have heard from someone at Tuskers that he's extremely highly rated by them and one to watch this season.

How about Raza's Double century
Can this guy get some love
Wow, yes. Good to see him in there with big runs at this point in his career.

Wow was enjoying the little duels between Madande and chivanga and ngarava.

Kinda wished we had chivanga playing against Bangladesh now. He looks like he goes for the LBW against the tail enders and more often than not he delivers. Full and straight with a touch of swing and at his pace 😀😀.
He could have got taskin early doors. Ngarava and muzarabani as good as they are kinda bowl snorters or length balls as their default. Sometimes you gotta bowl wicket to wicket and get those LBWs. Especially against the tail enders.
Bit of work to do against the front line batsmen though. High quality players like ervine saw him off.
Hope to see chivanga against Afghanistan in the test though

Madande played well. Gets into position early but on the pull can cramp himself. Saw him get lucky against ngarava a few times today after being rushed for pace

Looks like both the pitches were pretty much playing like roads on day 3? Even these marathon spells would do a world of good towards his development as a bowler, hopefully. The leggie getting a few wickets but going for plenty, the same story across teams as of now.

Yeah. A glimmer of hope, may be someone like him comes along and takes over the gloves at the national level and Reggie can play as a specialist batsman in the Taylorless Zim XI.
