Somebody on the livestream is saying we are touring Sri Lanka in January. Is that true?
We've got to go and play some super league ODIs there at some point. I haven't heard January mentioned before, but yeah certainly possible.

The two lefties put chivanga to the sword pretty quickly.

Makoni a duck first ball from the gasman Chivanga - way too quick for him. He does really seem to have some pace, and bounce.

On a good bowling deck imagine having Blessing, Ngarava and Chivanga all playing. That could be lethal.
Maybe if we produce a sloping pitch like that created by the dangling camera this morning

Chivanga is quick but he also goes for a lot of runs, even domestically.

SZ who is that Mpofu guy? looks organized at the crease. Also, how much does Craig Ervine earn for his efforts?

Nkosana? been around for years. 2 centuries in 78 innings as an opener and somehow finds himself as captain! Typical steady average Zim franchise player really. Capable of a good innings on his day but way too inconsistent.

Ervine is probably on a very good paycheck considering hes now the national captain. Probably 5-10x more than, for example, Nkosana Mpofu is earning. The top few national team players get paid very very well and then the franchise players get literal peanuts.

Thanks man. Is his captaincy official now? Nkosana does look a touch better than Masvaure or maybe I am just tired of seeing the Prince going for a 90 ball 14

Honestly the best thing about this season so far is players body language and the fact they seem to care. We've had years of plays not being arsed about domestic cricket but it seems like theres quite a competitive environment from what we can see on the streams this year. Very loud appeals, big celebrations for wickets, players looking pissed off at umpiring decisions or distraught at dropped catches.

It's good to see.
