Zimbabwe, more than any other team I’ve seen, are the type to score 140 in a game, whether it’s against Pakistan, Bangladesh or Ireland.

There’s no sense of disrespecting the opposition. It’s strange.

What has Zimbabwe's recent record been when it comes to high pressure do or die games? (anyone remember UAE?)
Nothing happened in UAE that was just a nightmare we all had once….

Cricket can be so painful at times. I think optimism is needed or else we will all eventually break.

New coach new Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 Just need a big win on game 1 to get us going.

Know i`m being captain obvious but a lot is gonna depend on Muzarabani and Ngarava. Those 2 are gonna have to play major roles in defending those 140 totals

I have faith that despite that, they`ll destroy teams. Both guys are so fun to watch in tandem. My favourite thing to watch about the current team lol

The reality is that neither Blessing nor Ngarava are that accurate or that quick and don't have great slower balls
Blessing does have some great wicket taking deliveries though, and Ngarava is a leftie, but at some point needs to get that in-swinger to the right hander going.
Their height and bounce will probably cause some batters problems, but you'd think spin will play a bigger role. Just depends on what wickets they prepare.

We should not be posting 140 totals against these sides, we need to be 180 plus.

They both bowl 140+ dont they? That alone is enough to cause problems surely. But yeah you guys are probably right.

No they're 135 ish from what I've seen. Maybe can crank the odd ball up.

Yeah about 135/136kph. Height will make them feel a bit quicker and they hit the bat hard.

Can we afford to go in with 3 number 11s and Wellington at 8? That is the biggest question ahead of tomorrow for me.

Nope. Can’t see us needing all three of Chats, Rich and Blessing if the queens pitch is a typical low slow turner.
I’d have two of them plus Jongwe probably.
