These two Afghan seamers are really pulling the piss with their age. This Zadran guy looks like he fought in the 1846 Afghan War, was captured and tortured. I'll eat my shorts if either of them are under 25.

Theyre showing some old u19 footage now of the Pakistani team. Now that's what Pakistani u19's look like.
These teams have been given the go ahead to field any players they like by the looks of it. Its bloody outrageous!!

These are the two main cheating sides. They've taken age group cheating to the next level. The only complaint the Pakistanis could make is - but these guys are 3 years older than us! These are both full men's international sides. I would doubt there's more than 4 players out of both teams that are the right age. The best is they claim some of them are 17!
Theyre so old they wouldn't survive Omicron.

Some of them look even older than me

Such a rough draw for Zim that we've got BOTH of these in the same group

This commentator is saying Afghanistan and Pakistan are evenly matched. Firstly that tells a story age-wise, but that doesn't bode well for us. I don't agree, but the next hour will tell us.
I'd say the Afghans have a better bowling attack, which may make it the strongest line up at this WC, but the Pakistani batting line up is lethal. The Afghans look a lot weaker in this dept, but its cricket, anything can happen.

This Noor guy, the spinner looks Caucasian, strange for that neck of the woods. A white Afghan Chinaman, he's covering all bases.

Top u19 (I say that with reservation coz they're older) spinners now bowl faster than Shane Warne's deliveries. 95kph vs 85kph. That surely tells you that the general standard of cricket is improving. That's interesting info.

I googled the cunt and can see what you mean. But to be honest that’s closer to how I understand Afghans look like.
I recall being very surprised at seeing the Afghan teams having that greasy Pakistan look a few years ago. I’ve met a lot of Afghans that have a Turkish or asiatic look like a Kazakh or tartar.
But perhaps I’ve just seen a minority of afghans.
That also said, there ARE definitely Caucasian afghans. I remember reading that they fled Russia at some point and hid in the mountains or something. I was surprised.

Do they have the control of Warne? My understanding is he had complete master ship of how he bowled and his trick balls and that bowling too quick wasnt his strategy. Afridi was a fast leg spinning bowler.

That's amazing. I'd guess those Russians also raped and pillaged their way through the Khyber Pass many times. It's an area of monumental historical conflict- Silk Road and all.
These Afghans are as hard as nails, they've resisted the Russians and the Chinese a few times.

Ya there's about 4 spinners in both teams that are probably world class. Proper control of line and length, and different deliveries, it's extraordinary viewing.
