Sri Lanka just lifted their bans on Gunathilaka, Mendis and Dickwella just in time for the series
Dont think theyre gonna come back though tbh
Mendis & Gunathilaka has got performance, they can be in contention. No chance for Dickwella.

Getting Mendis & Gunathilika back will make SL strong, keeping in mind the Aus tour they might start setting strong Playing XI

Kusal Perera is out so we need a keeper batter. Minod Bhanuka has been the frontrunner this year but he isnt quite as good as Dickwella yet so Dickwella actually has a chance. We also need an opener so either Mendis or Gunathilika could come in for that place. However the reason I said none of them will probably come is because our board is very strict and irrational

Yes, board was too harsh on them. They got punishment of match fixing or drug consumption for bubble breach.

So many examples are there PSL, IPL, Pakistan tour of NZ, India tour of England, India tour of Sri Lanka, West Indies tour of Pakistan has so many bubble breach cases but there was no investigation, none of the culprits were found or punished.

Yeah, it was an overreaction due to the poor nature of the team at that stage. Mendis and Gunathilika had run ins before but Dickwella in particular was unlucky

Where they looking for the absolute cheapest route?? Damn!! Anyway all these stops/exchanges will increase the chances of getting Covid-19. I would assume airports are covid hotspots

I guess we all have mixed feelings over Maruma!!! On one hand, we all know he’s not international standard and has no business being in the Chevrons. On the other hand, he was sensational in the Northerns vs Southerns games. All in all, good riddance, it’s time to move on. I would have Marumani (as a reserve for now) over Mutombodzi (let’s be honest, he’s never going to cut it at international level) , I would take a kid with potential over Mutombodzi, who is essentially the next Maruma. I would also have gone with Chivanga over Chatara, pace has become the key ingredient in mordern seam bowling, Chatara no longer has the firepower.

No idea haha. There's 21 people in party travelling from Zim (Rajput is coming direct from India) and the tour was only confirmed 2 weeks ago so maybe there just wasn't availability

The boys are going to be knackered whenever they finally arrive.
