It should have been Harare- Joburg - Doha/Dubai - Colombo. Still pretty circuitous.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 10:29 amThe boys are having to take FIVE flights to get to Colombo haha. Harare - Joburg - Nairobi - Dar-es-salam - Qatar - SL.

The BD team does similar on many of their tours. I bet they went Dhaka-Dubai-Auckland to get to NZ.

Zim don't usually have to go via Joburg either, the team normally flies Harare - Dubai/Addis Ababa and then on to wherever, so usually just two flights. Five flights is crazy, I feel for them. They will probably be in economy as well.Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 7:42 pmIt should have been Harare- Joburg - Doha/Dubai - Colombo. Craig Ervine (C)
Ryan Burl
Regis Chakabva
Tendia Chatara
Luke Jongwe
Takudzwa Kaitano
Clive Madande
Wessly Madhevere
Wellington Masakadza
Tinotenda Mutombodzi
Blessing Muzarabani
Richard Ngarava
Sikandar Raza
Milton Shumba
Sean Williams
Why no Brade Evans, Andrew Odendaal, Brayan Diplock, PJ Moor, James Ives, Dinial Jackiel , Michael Lake, Ryan Murray?
ZC should also adopt 5 whites , 5 blacks & 1 asian in Playing XI
After Raza retires, Taufnil Zaheer or Faraz Akram should find the spot

Re: Sri Lanka Tour: Squad Announced
Hammy is the director of cricket. And yeah he’s been on every away tour since he was appointed I think. Not sure what he does whilst there but I think it is quite normal amongst cricket boards tbf. Ashley Giles and all the ECB top brass are in Australia. The BCCI President and Secretary always follow the Indians around as well for example.Tinah09 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 2:04 am

Also there’s no Team Manager going with them on this tour so maybe Hammy is doubling up in that role this time?
