A team which produced the likes of Viv Richards, Lara, Marshall, Holding, Lloyd are now losing to Ireland. Can you believe how the WI have fallen guys. This is just hard to watch as a cricket fan.
Their admin is just as rotten as ZC, they don't pay well, leading to most of their players joining the global T20 circuit. They have the talent but cant retain it. They have a LOT in common with Zim. The only difference is they aren't in a state of perpetual political turmoil, so they really don't have much of an excuse for being shit

Well, that was pretty mediocre captaincy by the looks of it. Not opening with Ngarava and not finishing Wellington's quota. Basics not done right.

Also, Shumba must play the next two.
Ive always seen Williams and Raza as captaincy material, one of them should be captaining the team. Bless his heart, Ervine is a calm, passive bloke who really shouldn't be burdened with leadership, its not his thing, he is not a fighter. Muzarabani-Ngarava left-right seam strike new-ball partnership is the way to go, we've waited a long-time to have two tall fast bowlers of this calibre, why he persists with the dreadful Chatara is anyones guess. If he really wanted to go unorthodox, he could have had a spinner and Muzarabani opening partnership, why waste a swinging, new ball, under lights on Chatara??

The bowling let us down big time! Forumites on here would make far better selectors than the guys currently moonlighting in those positions. Based on our recent tours (Ireland-Scotland), domestic pro50 and the North-South series, theres is ZERO justification for Larry's continued selection. He is probably the least deserving member of the touring party. ZimCricket has always had a problem of sticking to blokes who are (i) past their prime or (ii) had one odd good series many moons ago (iii) or one of the boys. This gives the impression that we don't have a depth of players, which isnt entirely true. we have Chavanga- can bowl in the sought-after 140s, Mumba -who is potentially good with the bat and can bowl in the mid 130s, Jongwe - good variations can be expensive but makes things happen.

Yet we persist with Larry. Larry was at his prime in the 2015 WC beating the 140 km/h barrier often, a true senior strike bowler. But hes not that guy anymore, watching him ball tame bouncers at 120 km/h was the most pathetic thing ive seen on the cricket pitch. England have Ollie Robinson a seamer whos just as slow as Larry, he balls in the mid-120s, but his balls are off-cutters, the occasional yorker, tight lines, he chokes the other end of runs and creates pressure. This is what would expect from a medium pacer who wants to be effective. Larry is trying too hard to be Mitch Cummins while hes bowling at 120km/h, it doesnt work!! He needs to change everything about his bowling if he wants to remain relevant, until then, we are better served giving other seamers a go. He may be Hami's pal and as such guaranteed a spot in the chevrons until he can no longer run but if he loves cricket and want to see ZimCricket remain relevant, he needs to voluntarily sit out the rest of the tour, he is still getting the match fees after all right? Get your money, sit back and let more capable guys play

Even if you think Chatara is as good as Jongwe, Mumba, Evans, Nyauchi you can’t justify it as Chatara;
1. Cannot bat like 3/4 above.
2. Is older than all the above.

It’s not like we are splitting hairs on him and he gets the benefit of the doubt bevause he’s young with X factor,
He’s older, has a chewed up body, a number 11 and bowls slow.
