Regarding my earlier comment about Shumba being left out, I think we have not seen any batsman from Zim debuting in the last 15 years and in his very first season, carrying us home to wins and possessing good match awareness, albeit against associate opposition. The guy has an X factor. Given the line up, I would have preferred him over Wes, but yes, it would have been harsh on Wes too.
I hear ya but it IS an associate and I think it’s very very naive to underestimate that.

If Chatara fails this series I think his career is all but over.

Wes has done the same though, and in this specific format. I'm keen for Shumba to get at least one game in this series though and I'm sure he will.

This looks like a good score ..but looking at the entire innings this is one belter of a pitch ..we really needed in excess of 320 ..will need muzarbani to really strike right from the start

Sean scores his 100s against sub-continental Asian teams..Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan now Sri Lanka, he definitely has an affinity for facing spin bowlers
not like anyone else gives him games

lot of pessimism on this forum today considering the score

Average score on this ground is 258 so we are almost 40 over par.

ball can nip around under lights here apparently and do a bit

Backing us for the win

cmon babwe

nice cameo richard ngarava :) :D :D :D

I think we are 15 runs short.
Really need early wickets. A blessing special

Larry struggling as expected. Folks on this forum know this team more the team knows itself. Needed a Jongwe type of bowler for variations. Larry will bowl the same all spell long.

Ngarava should have been given the new bowl. Chatara is struggling, bowling at 125 - 129 kph range have lost good amount of pace.

Zim needs early wickets to put pressure and increase the RR else dew will make the bowlers venomless
