Have heard from a good source that this guy, very very experienced, is one of the signings;

https://www.espncricinfo.com/player/nick-gubbins-572198

Nick Gubbins. Good signing!
Yeah this guy is really sharp. Top player.
Suddenly these guys are loving sunny Zimbabwe. This is great news.
Ya really good news. I think there might be 1 more Overseas as well - apparently Eagles have signed someone.

Tuskers must be favourites to lift the cup now surely. Ervine, Williams, Gubbins, Shumba - one of the stronger franchise batting lineups we've seen for a few years.

In my book, this makes Mavuta a bone fide all-rounder. We often mislabel bowlers with sporadic run-a-ball cameos as all-rounders. In my book, you need a ton and five-for…I.e showing that you can/have achieved the gold standard excellence in batting and bowling. That said, will he at least get a look in (for Chevrons) now? Nyauchi could be our Hazelwood , effective medium pacer, he too is deserving of consideration

This is exciting news, a lot of good quality international players are gracing our shores. Andy Flower was right, Zimbabwe is the best place (climate-wise) to play cricket. A good 4 day game at Bulawayo’s sunny Queens sports club !! It doesn’t get better than that!! I hope these lads have a good time and teach our lot a thing or two!!

Perhaps this is why they have pushed the pro50 finals a few weeks out. To accomodate this influx of international players who are here for the Logan cup. I hopefully some will stick around for our T20. I reckon a Zim players selected on the basis of their domestic performance against teams littered with international talent will be more meritorious, as opposed to a local XI vs another local XI
