Carrot of west indies in final(probably) big crowd and under 19 automatic qualification in 2024.
Any changes to squad?
Zimbabwe vs ireland playe semi final
Re: Zimbabwe vs ireland playe semi final
This might be West Indies' poorest result yet. Today is a big day for us, getting into the plate final would be bloody awesome.
Re: Zimbabwe vs ireland playe semi final
I think this is already our best result since 2006 where we came 7th. Should we advance to the final we are in rarified air.
Re: Zimbabwe vs ireland playe semi final
Bennet and Welch are right up there in various rankings with the most 50's, the most 4's and the highest averages.
Not bad!

Donald mate you’ll have to try and edit the title in that first post or my OCD will be all over the place
Re: Zimbabwe vs ireland playe semi final
Perhaps rest Taruvinga, @ 15yo, hes been punching above his weight facing “U19” bowlers, he has time, will be back for the next 2 WCs. Makoni’s kid currently doesn’t deserve a spot in the XI. Welch is our lynchpin, Bawa needs to go down to 4
1. M Welch
2. Saul
3. ????????
4. Bawa
5. Bennet
6. Bennet
7. Woulhoter
8. Mitchell
9. Mataranyika
10. Falao
11. Dube
Re: Zimbabwe vs ireland playe semi final
I have a feeling this is going to be Mitchell’s game to go big!!

Some of our batting struggles can be traced back to those 3 World Cups if we are honest with ourselves. It's not a surprise that that 2004 and and 2006 generation is when some of our best batsmen played. The results speak for themselves.
