I highly doubt it. Zim is a highly punitive country, quick to discard people. The charge is delaying to report the approach, hence the ban is less than 1/2 of what Streak got. If we can get some academy going, Brendan would be a perfect fit for batting coach as he’s the 2nd best batsman Zim has produced. It’s really not surprising that for all outlets teams, the batsmen cannot convert after getting a good start, because they are “coached” by former players who themselves could not convert 30-40s to tons

Brendan Taylor have not learnt from Shakib's incident. I think for retired players it should be 1 or maximum 1.5 years, as they have no role except playing domestic, veteran league or work as coach/mentor.

Nah, to be honest, even without the matchfixing, his chances of landing a job with ZC were slim. I’ve made this point often, the simple fact that it’s almost always white batsman who score centuries, win us games etc evokes feelings of jealousy among their black counterparts. Watching Taylor make the ICC WC2015 team of the tournament, smack 100+ vs India, nab a big $ contract HAS to rub the brothers the wrong way. If Brendan was succeeding based on favouritism due to race, then at least they will have an “excuse” to make themselves feel better. But the guy was brilliant!!. So long story short, Hami and co would rather have the batting coach role rotate amongst his 100 cap -no century pals like Chamu and Matsi than have an accomplished white batsman take the reins

In Australia, Langer’s job is apparently up in the air despite winning the T20 World Cup and Ashes in less than 6 months ago. Yet in Zim, that useless, absentee coach is enjoying unparalleled job security. What the f$$k is wrong with us!!!!

Since then, has tweeted numerous times about the Indian U19 team (and even the Afghanistan U19 team) congratulating them - of course absolutely nothing about our own U19 Chevrons. He seems to mostly just spend his time wishing happy birthday to various Indian cricketers.

ZC is truly an incompetent organization, the worst part is that they don't even know what they want and the team is just headed nowhere.

We don't know when Zimbabwe play again, every other day a series gets cancelled or postponed.

No clarity on FTP or when some of the WSL games are to be scheduled. Even Netherlands have a better fixture list and clarity atm. Ireland are doing a far better job. This is plain disgusting from ZC.

No clarity on what they want from Rajput, he hasn't given the results for sure but he hangs in there, it's quite bizzare really. Can't understand if he has been given any targets or it's just a free ride.

No plan for talent retention. Like Myers is gone and there was no attempt to keep him. PJ is gone, couldn't they have worked out something with him? When Heath was in charge he got BT, Jarvis, Cremer and Mire back, he was trying hard to get more good players stick around with ZC but nothing of the sort now.

ZC is total shambles. I don't know what these guys want. Do they just want to kill Zimbabwe cricket? It's hard to comprehend. There is zero planning. Zero certainty. Zero hope.
