Logan Cup 18-21 Feb | Eagles Vs Rhinos | Mountaineers Vs Rhinos

Post by secretzimbo »

Tomorrow. Sorry for getting this in early, but Eagles posted their squad and theres some interesting names.

Kumbirai Phiri and Wishnanzy Chapfombo are new ones I think? Kuda Munyede - who is actually a change room attendant at HSC - hasn't played for a couple of years. I presume Kuziwa Ziwira is the same person as Honest Ziwira? Is Chakabva injured?

Probably see a couple of new names for Rhinos too seeing as this is a dead rubber.

Mountaineers only need a draw to win the title.

They should be using stuff like this and really marketing this to counties next season. Get up to 10 overseas guys here. What an experience for these young lads.

Mountaineers: Compton back home and PJ still injured. A blow for them.

Rocks: Gabriel Jaya first appearance of the season. Looks like a poor bowling attack.

Eagles: First Class debut for Wishnanzy Chapfombo

Rhinos: First Class debut for Ronald Masocha

And this is the day Cephas decides to get a century  . The mountaineers might be in serious trouble if they don't get these 2 out soon.

Marumani looks a completely different player compared to six months ago, fair play to the lad for going away and changing his technique.

Cephas going massive in what I hear could be his final Logan Cup appearance before retirement. Nice.
