Frost went to Loughborogh didn't he? Pretty much the best place in the world to develop at that age. It's showing.

Frost out on 76.
Ya I haven't heard great reports about Loughborough. I don't think Frost was in the main side last year, some very political selections. They get their pick of some pretty good cricketers though, and for reasons unknown overlook some really talented guys. They have amazing facilities.
A Flower was based there for long stretches when he was part of the England Development set up. The women are based there I think. Cobb is the coach, not particularly well liked.

I know a cricketer that had he been selected for Loughborough probably would have gone on to have a pro career, and he didn't even make their extended squad. He was absolutely devastated and stopped playing for a while and then couldn't even get a trial game at any County. I suspect he was "blacklisted" for his outburst.

That was a nervous finish. Any idea why Chameera didn't play today?

No.
Jeez what a game! That bowler was a wreck after that.
Slower balls into the pitch at a batsman waiting for just that!

Ankle injury or something. They were waiting for a scan.

I see England chased down 248 set by Netherlands in 30 overs. I was watching and thought the Dutch batsmen had at least set a vaguely defendable target. They're bloody savage. I still don't see how Phil Salt is in England colours, he's done well, but I never thought he was that level. You could literally pick about 20 batters to replace him as well.
I don't think the Dutch would beat a county side. English cricket is going from strength to strength, certainly in white ball.

We will see next month when they clash against India. We are also a heavyweight side, but on current form and home conditions, yeah, I would expect England to be slight favourites.
