Intrestingly Atish Chouhan is from the Vic Falls, are we seeing an increase in popularity of cricket in that region

Re: Under 19 Squad for South Africa Series
Ryan Burl did pretty well in their recent tour of SA. I haven't seen a lot of him, but, I here from my fellow mates he's pretty dangerous once he gets going.
And there is Luke Jongwe. Top order bat who bowls a bit of some medium pace. I can say I know him in and out as I have seen him in the Churchill nets a lot. He has a solid technique, but he might be found wanting on square turners and green bouncy wickets.
I can say the same for Shaun Handirisi. He hasn't learnt the skill of pacing an innings and he tends to get out playing too many strokes. He's still 16/17 and he gar all the time in the world to learn and when he finally does, he can be our very own Gilchrist.

Another U19 match against SA, another top-order collaps ...
Kasuza gone cheaply, and as yet only James Bruce into double figures with 28. But Ryan Burl is still there, 83-6 after 26 overs.

Re: Under 19 Squad for South Africa Series
197-8 is a decent recovery. Well played, Ryan Burl, for his 57 after a cautious start, good support by Zimwa & Handirisi. But it seems there's again no stopping Quinton de Kock, who looks like a real prospect for the Saffers.
On a whole I find that the SA team is a lot more experienced, both in terms of age - the majority seem to be 19, while our youngester are all (?) younger - and playing at a higher level. I don't know much about the SA youth set-up, but they obviously play are fair amount of inter-provincial age-group cricket.

Burl looks a good prospect looking at the last few outings of his. A hope for the next generation, may be?
