27 Zimbos in IPL auction

Long auction list of 180-odd, including as many as 27 Zimbos. However, each side has only a couple of overseas slots to fill, so I actually doubt if any of them will get a contract.
Quite frankly what blind optimism persuaded the like of Neville Madziva to put their names forward is beyond me...

And who in their crazy mind would pick Chamu Chibhabha , I would not even pick him for club cricket .Even with his all potential hupe .Potential is the word reserved for the Burl,Jongwe ,Kasuza, Bentley ,Lake , Handirisi and co ......

Its not just Zimbabwe players who are 'reaching' by putting their names forward..some of the Australians who couldnt even get a game in the expanded Big Bash this season....how do they think they will be picked up as an international player

Exactly! But even he has surely about 100x the chance of Neville Madziva! haha.

I don't think any Zimbo will make the grade, anyway. The only "PL" anyone in the ZC setup can realistically hope to be part of is "BPL"
