Betting thread

Post by ZIMDOGGY »

Here's a thread for the punters out there wherein we can use our superior knowledge of ZC (and the game in general) to have a flutter and maybe get a bit of cash.

I'll start.

I think Malcolm Waller at 9/1 is a great bet.

Coming in at 5. In form against the team he annihilated singlehandedly last time they met. Good warm up form, higher odds than ANY touring batsman.

Get your money on it. I have

In that case, I'll whack $20 virtual dollars on H Masakadza picking up a wicket (50/1).

i would say taylor at 4 dollors for most runs for ZIm are good odds. With Zimbabwe to score four runs off the first over at odd of $7.50. Most wickets i would have to go still Jarvis at $4.50.

These odds are alot more accurate then last time a placed a bet on zim. The last 20/20 the played with Vitori he was second fav to top score.

Jarvis, most first innings wickets!

Sportingbet could really use more customers like yourself!

I think Taibu&Waller for the highest bat, look to be the best value for a Zim player! They come in at the right time to make the most of things.

Here are my calls. See if I am any good at this. \
The amounts reflect my amount of confidence in the likely result. I did not care to check the odds on bet365 or elsewhere as that would cloud my judgement.

to win the match - NZ ( $20)

Both innings
Top NZ batsman - Williamson ($5)
Top Zim batsman - Taibu ($5) , Waller ($5) or Elton ($5 if he plays then Waller is void)
Zim first innings score - 230 to 270 ( $2)
NZ first innings score - 400 +- 30 ($2)
Top NZ bowler - Bracewell ($8) Southee ($2)
Top Zim bowler - Meth if he plays (otherwise I have no clue depends on inside edges and aerial hits with the batsman losing patience)

Seems you did not put a monetary value on Meth , otherwise you would have lost .He is out injured .

I just think thatr Jarvis is best at cleaning up the tail, I agree that Waller or Taibu are great odds for most runs.
