I think we will only really see how good Shumba is in the next test series we play. He has what it takes to succeed in that format. Wes had a head start but for me they are on the same level now. Wes is better in ODIs where he bats lower and isn't trying to smack every ball

Chatara showed he has learnt a few things. Luke is decent with his variations too on a slow pitch. I guess that's why he is still in the sqaud
Yes, Jongwe does well with his pace variations on slow wickets, these type of wickets suit him well.

We definitely don't need 4 seamers on these mega slow pitches! I'd happily drop Tiripano and Chivanga for Evans and Marumani/Munyonga next game. I know it's good to keep a wining XI together etc but still think we should make those changes.

Anyway, that win should give the boys a lot of confidence. On to the next one on Thursday. :6:

It will be a Good Change and much needed for the slow pitch.

The balance of the side to day was shocking, Munyonga needs to come in as a power hitter.

I`d keep Chakabva in. Just one failure and he's a proven performer. Burl on the other hand I`m not sure. Hes an ok leggie and can properly hammer trundlers but he isn't bowling and he hasn't batted well in a decent while. Maybe I`d drop him but I don't know which one of Muyonga and Marumani I`d pick

Why drop Burl? He has been very handy bat in T-20. We should drop Tiripano, Mavuta, Chivanga and replace them with Marumani, Munyonga and Evans or Nyauchi.

I think ZC rates Tiripano highly, so you can now see him in all the formats. He is in the team as a batting allrounder who can bowl a bit. He played a blinder in one of the games between Northerns vs Southerns and batted ok in SA series. They rate Mutumbami too.
