I see that Divan La Cock is 19.
Does anyone have a list of Madhevere's T20 innings?
I see his average is 22. I'm not so sure about that. He's had a string of low scores hasn't he?

Thanks. Interesting. At a glance you'd think his average would be about 15, but it's 20.5

In a strong domestic set up you wouldn't see him in national colours again I don't think.

11 of the 23 innings are single figures
At some point we have to stop saying how talented he is and he needs to prove it.

Interestingly Raza is now sitting on an average of 13.95 in 44 International T20s. He has been terrible for somebody with that reputation. How can they drop Wes when the main T20 guy averages such? Only 1 fifty and a strike rate of 107

That 50 Raza scored was in 2015 whilst opening against Afghanistan. That is appalling. Maybe that's why they dropped him last year. They looked at the stats

Ya you're 100% correct. That's the problem here, nobody to replace these guys and they live on their reputation which you wonder where it was obtained. The fact remains he is still better than anyone else in the wings. Its why we get dry humped repeatedly I guess.

For comparison Sean Williams has scored 1034 runs in 50 T20 Internationals. Ryan Burl 580 runs in 36 matches, Craig Ervine 837 runs in 36 matches, Chakabva 430 runs in 28 matches , Wes 478 in 23 matches. Raza has 572 in 44 matches. The numbers clearly show who the weakest links are.

The fact that Williams is currently our best T20 player and he can barely hit a 6 if its not a slog sweep says it all

His average in domestic/franchise T20 both in Zim and overseas is about 25. It’s a mystery why he hasn’t been able to do much in a Zim shirt.

Great record in ODIs and Tests though of course

T20 is tough. Everyone assumes its a batman's game, but there are very few batters that average over 20, never mind 30.
