No they are. It's anywhere between 2 and 3k.
My friend looks after an elderly guy, like a live-in and he gets 3500. I even know one lady who's on 4, but she acts as a bit of a PA.
2k is easy.

Ya Zambezis available and $1.

Well the two I mentioned are clearly non standard as they work for two very wealthy old people, my mate in Brighton gets driven to the shops in an old Bentley to do the shopping, but I'd say standard take home is between 24 and 30k

The 4k a month lady's charge died recently and because she got the job direct and not through an organisation she was entitled to anything thst may have been left to her in the will.
She had worked for the woman for 10 years, and was left £30 in the will!!
She thought she'd be getting a property!

Until the end I was thinking SZ is somehow mistaken and Raj is not the Robot/Stoneman troll.. But now he has made it obvious. This is dissapointing because he could posted good stuff and that would have been welcomed. Now it is obvious that he was here only to troll. 🤦‍♂️
Trust me, it was obvious a long time ago.

From what I can gather there has been a huge shortage in care workers there since Brexit and the pandemic, so wages have gone up a lot. Also seems to be the case that they work lots and lots of hours and overtime.

I was speaking to another mate the other day, who's been in the UK long-term, who told me about the crisis there and everyone in the UK complaining about 9% inflation    When you're a Zimbabwean 9% sounds fantastic tbf

In Australia, we were always led to believe salaries are better in Australai EXCEPT the nursing industry, where Uk salaries dwarf Aussie ones, hence a lot of Aussies are poached to go there.

Ya its good.
The latest is banana flavored Chibuku. I'll be giving that a swerve for as long as possible, but pretty sure I'll be coerced into drinking that out of a shoe in the near future
