Vusi dreamed of making loads of cash
so he headed off for the Big Bash
but his hopes were mislaid
he didn't make the Grade
and returned home with a crash

There was once a batter named Matsi
He was supposedly very gutsy
He always made the squad
But performances were flawed
That made the selectors look nutsy

Enigmatic Mr Matsikenyeri
caused his fans to become rather weary
after promising much
he soon lost his touch
leaving supporters all beery and teary

before it was told
Vusi was He was so called
To Ausie he went and was bowled

He returned home a shy boy
And went camping in the ploy
"Vusi you wont go"
You will have no joy

So the team flew east
To hunt down the Kiwis
Like a baby and a beast
The candy was taken

An Ass whooping we got
So bad it was so good
lesson learnt
Dont ever leave Vusi behind again

There once was a match at Hambatota
Where Sri Lanka gave us not one iota
We hardly fielded a ball
Couldn't read Mendis at all
Of huge defeats we've got a fair quota

Just a few days after they landed
Zimbabwe left the tournament empty handed
With many a duck
And even less luck
In the cricketing wilderness they are stranded

the Sri lankan spinners embarassed our chaps
and the Saffer pacers caused quite a collapse
now the Irish are squealing
the Afghans appealing
welcome to the familiar Minnows Relapse

As Zim Cricket gets broker and broker
mismanaged by a certain Chingoka
the coffers are bare
no one seems to care
might as well be run by a dope smoker

We hoped to see Pirates of the Carribean
But instead it was more like Halloween
Captain Psycho was dreary
the batting was scary
Let's hope there's no sequel to the one we've just seen

Our batsmen had not played a Test in a year
All us fans were therefore trembling with fear
Tino Mawoyo was willing
But got done by a Shilling'
And the rest never moved into top gear

Our bowlers were equally underprepared
But Jarvis and Chatara were not scared
Price did his stuff
Cremer not nearly enough
Well and Hamilton, two wickets he snared
