Thrashed in three days by Pakistan
Can Zimbabwe make a last stand
well just have to wait
and see if our fate
is safe in Willams' gammy hand
Welcome back PieChucker, but Williams won't feature mostly, which means this limerick will just remain a hope :)

Now that you have triggered this again, here are a couple of additions...

We had a legend named Heath Streak
Who surely was a talented freak
He spoke to a bookie
And accepted a cookie
His academy's future is now bleak

There is a tall bowler by the name Blessing
Who bowls his heart out, no messing
But the batsmen don't set a score
We need someone's encore
That's a need that's currently pressing

And...

As zimcricket kept suffering
And ZC streams kept buffering
ZCF poets and quizzers
Kept at it like blizzards
And kept on with their own chaffering
:)

ZC have got a Director in Hammy
It sure looks like a double whammy
He takes his paychecque
Players have a trainwreck
But somehow, its not all doomy gloomy

There's this kid named Marumani
With T20s, he's bang on the money
Batting wih no fear,
Boundaries he can clear,
With him, hope the future is sunny!

There is a batsman turned bowler named Burl
He could give the ball a nice and neat twirl
He started using glue
To stitch his old shoe
Only after social media posts, did his luck unfurl
