Thought I’d put this in for a bit of fun, have a go at guessing each teams final positions in the qualifiers.

Here is my attempt, you may be shocked by this one

1st Zimbabwe (beat Netherlands in semi finals)
2nd Uganda (beat USA in semi finals)
3rd Netherlands
4th USA
5th PNG
6th Jersey
7th Hong Kong
8th Singapore

I honestly think Uganda will be the dark horses in this tournament and manage to beat the Dutch in the group stage, alternatively (same outcome) We mess up one of our matches and have to play the Dutch anyway.

Toss up between us and the Dutch for 1st place and a toss up between Uganda and Jersey for the wooden spoon I think.

Interested to see how the USA do for all their hype.

Btw guys, are Kenya now so bad that they can't even get ahead the likes of Jersey and Singapore? Kenya's has been a very tragic and shocking downfall.

They aren’t that bad you know, they would easily beat Singapore and jersey. Trouble is there is only one spot for other African sides and Uganda are quality.

They outclassed the same Namibian side that battered us.

I have watched most of their games recently and that Kyewuta is something special. He bowls at least 80mph plus and swings it round corners. The Namibian openers didn’t have a clue. I’m excited watch him bowl again.

Jersey and Kenya are in the same 50-over challenge league and Jersey are doing way better than them.

Kenya really have fallen.

Uganda? That's just not true. They lost the series 2-1 and the match they did win, they only won on the final ball of the match.

Complete rubbish using words like 'outclassed' and 'battered' either way here.

I do admire your pan-African patriotism and I'd really like to see them do well, but Uganda will be doing well to win a single game here I think. They lost to Hong Kong and Jersey at home a couple of weeks ago.

Okay maybe I am a little biased  I watched all three of the matches against Namibia, they should have won the series, lack of experience meant that they couldn’t get over the line. Outclassed Namibia probably wasn’t the best word though I agree haha.

Battered may sound harsh and is probably the wrong word but we still lost that series and Uganda put up more of a fight. That series for us against Namibia is one I really want to forget.

Uganda are top of their challenge league group ahead of Hong Kong, jersey and Kenya.

I am probably talking complete rubbish though, watch Uganda lose all 3 games now
