Zimbabwe Vs Bangladesh | 3rd ODI | 10th August 2022

Post by secretzimbo »

Some news;

- Chakabva serious injury doubt (hand)
- Raza also slight injury doubt/may be rested
- Raza to captain if he plays, Madhevere to captain if Raza is rested.
- Clive Madande and John Masara have been added to the squad

Probably will be a handful of changes to the XI again.

Zimbabwe cricket app showing Donald Tiripano in the squad, is he will be replacement of Chivanga?

Aren't we pretty close to going back to Chibhabha or Maruma at this rate of people going down with injuries?

Technically I think Chibhabha is still the designated captain for the shorter formats, who is getting replaced on a series by series basis isn't it? :lol:

Yeah possibly. Although the app doesn't list Madande, and he was 100% at training this morning doing wicket keeping drills. So I'm not sure how reliable the app is...

At this point no idea who will turn up and play tomorrow. We just seem to be plucking random players out of nowhere and giving them a game :lol:

Haha no Crimson, Ervine is officially the permanent captain since the board meeting earlier this year. Thankfully. :lol:

Reggie is out of tomorrow's match. Raza likley to captain. Madande will keep wicket.

If we win with this XI it will just be funny.

It's good to give rest for Raza. He continuously playing cricket from Namibian series so it's good to rest him and make fresh for upcoming series.
