Was just thinking Kaitano is very lucky to still be in the squad and they could have given Kasuza a chance, after all the good work he did in that domestic T20 competition, they could have at least tried him out. Musakanda is another one I would like to give at least a couple more chances. I mean you cannot get a player back and discard him after just 1 game. Going by that logic Kaitano should have been dropped as well.

Well same goes for Marumani. No games for ages then open against India for one game. Don't understand that.

Replace Nyauchi with Blessing in the line up today and the bowling is sorted.

Muzarabani
Ngarava
Evans
Jongwe
Raza, Williams, Burl, Madhevere/Shumba will be my spinners

I'll go with this bowling lineup for the T20 WC.

Difficult to fit him in the playing XI unless Jongwe is dropped but Jongwe brings more all round value.

Chatara might be better than Ngarava tbh. More accurate and a better swing bowler but Ngarava has that bounce, pace and does have the ability to keep his nerve like in the Scotland match. Up to the selectors who have a better view. But yeah very very tough. Jongwe occasionally goes missing like yesterday unfortunately but he does have that x factor or knack or whatever you wanna call it. The first good headache ZImbabwe have had in a while

Yeah, I could see Jongwe looked very disappointed yesterday, which means he is hungry to do well. He is also definitely thinking with the emergence of Evans, he is the most likely one who comes under threat.

Hopefully he will step up.

There's absolutely room for both. If they both improve then we've got two decent all-rounders. Thats a fine thing.
Jongwe needs to put in the hard yards or he's in danger of being left behind. He's got good change-ups in T20 but he could be better, and he needs to improve his batting and he absolutely has the capacity to do so. This good outing from Evans I hope is not a one off and its shaken things up.
