I feel sorry for Vitori though, no one cared to help him with his bowling action. It was such a dark time for ZC as well, they missed out on the WC and then no one knew what's next, we even thought the players won't stick around. I think Vitori was lost in all of that.

If your advantage comes from slightly too much flexion it's almost impossible to correct and remain a threat, you lose that edge. His short ball was a really obvious chuck, the other deliveries were marginal.
He did great on debut, it went to his head, packed on huge weight and went on that NZ tour bowling 120, then never got back to his previous form and probably exaggerated his flaw in an effort to get it back. Where on earth is the monitoring of a player that he even got selected for that tour? That's just head in the sand desperation and incompetence by management.

That u19 player that called for chucking in the last squad is back playing cricket with exactly the same action. ZC have done nothing about it. They're happy for him to keep chucking in our domestic league!!!

Except he wasn’t.
If you let the top 10 seamers in Zimbabwe throw to the level Brian was, they would be as good or better than he was.

Brian just got lucky he got away with it for a few years. He disappeared from rep sides as soon as he was required to bowl legally, so what does that tell you?
